Amanda Kluxen is a registered nurse, yoga instructor and mother of two. With nine years of nursing experience, Amanda has experienced and used many different modalities of healing. She has worked with geriatric, pediatric, renal and oncology patients throughout the East Coast. She is currently completing her Integrative Healing Arts certification focused in aromatherapy, music therapy and reflexology.
Meditation, breath work and yoga are also a passion for Amanda. With one breath at a time, she helps make yoga accessible to all-level students. Amanda has also taken additional training in using yoga as an integrative therapy for trauma. Amanda appreciates the need to nurture both the physical and emotional body.
Her understanding of chronic illness and the importance of preventative care gives her the opportunity to meet her patients and students where they are now and encourage them to achieve optimal health.
Nothing has shaped Amanda’s professional practice more than her children. They have taught her patience, unconditional compassion and love and how to care for herself. Amanda continues to balance career and motherhood and wants to share her art of healing with you.
